Pangeran Philip Meninggal Dunia, Klub-Klub Liga Inggris Ucapkan Bela Sungkawa
JAKARTA, KOMPAS.TV – Kabar meninggalnya Pangeran Philip, Duke of Edinburgh menjadi berita duka bagi rakyat Britania Raya. Klub-klub Liga Inggris yang mengetahui kabar duka tersebut berbondong-bondong mengucapkan bela sungkawa kepada Kerajaan Inggris.
Tottenham Hotspur mengucapkan bela sungkawa terhadap meninggalnya Pangeran Philip, Jumat (9/4/2021). Melalui akun twitter-nya, Spurs menuliskan, “Kami semua sangat sedih dengan berita meninggalnya Pangeran Philip, Duke of Edinburgh. Pikiran dan simpati kami bersama Yang Mulia Ratu dan Keluarga Kerajaan.”

Klub asal London lainnya, Chelsea juga menuliskan pesan bela sungkawa terkait meninggalnya Pangeran Philip.

Kerajaan Inggris mengumumkan secara resmi wafatnya suami Ratu Elizabeth II, yaitu Pangeran Phillip, di usia 99 tahun, seperti dilansir Associated Press, Jum'at, (09/04/2021).
Dalam pengumuman resminya, Istana Buckingham menyatakan:
“Dengan kesedihan yang mendalam Yang Mulia Ratu mengumumkan kematian suaminya yang tercinta, Yang Mulia Pangeran Philip, Duke of Edinburgh."
"Yang Mulia meninggal dengan damai pagi ini di Kastil Windsor."
“Pengumuman lebih lanjut akan dilakukan pada waktunya. Keluarga Kerajaan bergabung dengan orang-orang di seluruh dunia untuk berduka atas kehilangannya."
